Ultrared Cologne by Paco Rabanne, Ultrared is a citrus cologne. This gourmand fragrance features a medley of sweet, citrus and herbal ingredients to create a masculine aroma with longevity. The blood orange top notes create a sweet, juicy fragrance similar to a ripe red raspberry. As the citrus notes fade away, the middle notes of chocolatey praline and bittersweet tonka bean take over to give an earthy, sweet heart. The scent finishes on notes of warm vanilla and woody patchouli for an earthy finish that wraps up the sweeter notes with masculinity.
This cologne, along with a perfume by the same name, was released by Paco Rabanne in 2008. This French fashion house was founded in 1966. Soon after it started, the brand became known for eclectic clothing designs that integrated unusual materials, such as paper and metal, into the designs. In 1969, the company launched its first perfume. Since then, the house has released several exotic, sophisticated and distinctive colognes and perfumes.
